2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted in this fan art sketch alongside 9S, both rendered as stylized, mechanical androids in a dramatic, low-angle pose. The image features a stark black-and-white line art style, emphasizing their combat-ready forms with rifles and flags, evoking the game’s post-apocalyptic world. The composition highlights the emotional weight of their mission under the creative vision of Yoko Taro and PlatinumGames, with Square Enix’s narrative depth. This digital illustration captures the gothic-lolita aesthetic of 2B’s design through simplified, mechanical forms, blending action and solemnity. The artwork, signed by the artist, serves as a powerful homage to the NieR: Automata universe and its iconic characters.
