2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, shares an intimate embrace with 9S in this digital illustration, both clad in signature black gothic-lolita outfits with flowing capes and white hair. The pose, with 2B’s leg wrapped around 9S and their foreheads touching, conveys deep emotional connection against a minimalist backdrop, emphasizing their bond in the post-apocalyptic world. This fan art, rendered with high detail and dramatic lighting, highlights the emotional depth central to PlatinumGames’ narrative under Yoko Taro’s vision. The blindfold and military-inspired design reflect their roles as Androids in the YoRHa unit, while the clean composition focuses on character intimacy over environmental context. Created by Emi-san, this piece exemplifies the enduring appeal of NieR: Automata’s characters in digital art form.
