2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is shown in a tender embrace with 9S, her fellow YoRHa android, in this evocative digital illustration. Both characters wear their signature gothic-lolita combat outfits—2B with her black blindfold and white leotard, 9S in his black coat and red accents—against a muted, moody backdrop that emphasizes their emotional connection. The artwork captures a rare moment of vulnerability and intimacy between the two, contrasting the usual post-apocalyptic combat themes of the PlatinumGames game. Created by a fan artist, this piece highlights the deep narrative and character dynamics central to Yoko Taro’s vision, developed by Square Enix. This digital art exemplifies the enduring appeal of 2B and 9S in the NieR: Automata universe.
