2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted in a tender embrace with 9S, her co-pilot and closest companion, in this poignant digital illustration. She wears her signature black gothic-lolita combat outfit with a red-lined collar, white gloves, and her iconic blindfold, while 9S’s orange-accented jacket and silver hair are visible as he holds her tightly. The scene is set against a soft, glowing white void with floating golden particles, evoking a sense of emotional release and connection in the post-apocalyptic world created by Yoko Taro and PlatinumGames. This fan art, rendered in a clean anime style, highlights the deep bond between the androids, central to the narrative of NieR: Automata, and showcases the emotional depth often explored in Square Enix’s acclaimed title. The image captures a moment of vulnerability and intimacy, contrasting with their usual combat roles as YoRHa operatives.
