2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is shown in a tender embrace with 9S, her fellow YoRHa android, in this evocative digital illustration. She wears her signature gothic-lolita black dress with lace-up details, gloves, and blindfold, while 9S is depicted in his characteristic blue coat with a fur collar. The intimate, low-angle pose captures a rare moment of vulnerability and connection in the post-apocalyptic world of the PlatinumGames game, created under Yoko Taro and Square Enix. This fan art highlights the deep emotional bonds between the androids, set against a moody, atmospheric backdrop with soft light filtering through. The artwork blends the dark, industrial aesthetic of the game with a heartfelt, human-like moment, showcasing the complexity of 2B’s character beyond combat.
