2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted alongside 9S in this digital illustration, both sporting long, flowing red hair and gothic-lolita-inspired outfits with layered black and white garments. The characters stand back-to-back in a dramatic pose, exuding a sense of unity and vigilance, with 9S holding a rifle and 2B clutching a book, hinting at their contrasting roles within the post-apocalyptic world. The artwork captures the emotional depth and aesthetic of PlatinumGames' masterpiece, created under Yoko Taro's vision for Square Enix. This fan art reimagines the android duo with a striking visual style, emphasizing their connection and the melancholic beauty central to the NieR: Automata narrative.
