2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted in a tender, close embrace with 9S, both characters shown in profile with their faces nearly touching. The digital illustration highlights their iconic black blindfolds, gothic-lolita-inspired combat outfits, and silver hair, rendered with soft lighting and warm bokeh effects that enhance the emotional intimacy. Set against a minimalist white background, the scene focuses entirely on their connection, evoking themes of love and sacrifice within the post-apocalyptic world created by Yoko Taro and PlatinumGames. This fan art, likely created by an anime artist, captures a quiet, vulnerable moment between the two androids, contrasting their usual combat roles and emphasizing their deep bond. The piece exemplifies the emotional depth found in NieR: Automata, a title developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix, celebrated for its storytelling and character development.
