2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is portrayed alongside 9S in a striking monochrome digital illustration. The artwork features a split composition with abstract, brush-stroke backgrounds, emphasizing their somber expressions and signature red eyes. Both androids wear their classic YoRHa combat outfits, with 2B’s blindfold and gothic-lolita-inspired black dress subtly implied through silhouette and shading. The piece evokes the game’s melancholic, post-apocalyptic atmosphere, characteristic of Yoko Taro’s storytelling and PlatinumGames’ visual design under Square Enix. This fan art exemplifies the emotional depth and artistic interpretation found in the NieR: Automata community.
