2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is shown in a tender yet intense embrace with 9S, her fellow YoRHa android. She wears her signature black gothic-lolita outfit with a blindfold, while 9S is shirtless, his form partially exposed, emphasizing their emotional vulnerability. The industrial, post-apocalyptic setting with crumbling structures and cold lighting enhances the dramatic, melancholic mood. Created by fan artist yuyanago, this digital illustration reflects the deep narrative themes of identity and connection central to Yoko Taro’s PlatinumGames masterpiece, developed by Square Enix. The piece stands as a powerful example of fan art that captures the soul of the NieR: Automata universe.
