2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted kneeling beside 9S, who lies motionless in shallow water, evoking a moment of quiet grief or reflection. She wears her signature gothic-lolita black dress, white gloves, and blindfold, with her sword planted upright beside her, reflecting the somber mood. The scene, rendered in digital illustration, features soft backlighting and floating white flowers, enhancing the melancholic, post-apocalyptic atmosphere. This fan art, created by Rin (Baka-nearts), highlights the deep connection between the YoRHa androids, a core theme in Yoko Taro’s PlatinumGames and Square Enix narrative. The composition blends dramatic lighting with emotional weight, characteristic of the NieR: Automata universe.
