2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted alongside 9S in this digital illustration, both rendered with sharp silver hair, red eyes, and signature combat gloves. The composition features a dramatic low-angle pose, emphasizing their android forms against a fragmented, industrial-aesthetic backdrop with the game’s title. Their expressions convey intense emotion, reflecting the series’ themes of identity and war in a post-apocalyptic world. Created by a fan artist, this piece blends the gothic-lolita design of their YoRHa uniforms with the dark, moody atmosphere central to PlatinumGames’ vision under Yoko Taro. The artwork highlights the deep connection between the two characters, a core element of the NieR: Automata narrative.
