2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted in a tender moment with 9S, her fellow YoRHa android. She gently holds his hand, her signature black blindfold and gothic-lolita outfit intact, while a thought bubble shows her affectionately kissing his hand. 9S, in his tactical combat gear, appears surprised and flustered, adding emotional depth to this post-apocalyptic narrative. Created as digital illustration, the piece highlights the complex relationship between the two characters, a hallmark of Yoko Taro’s storytelling under PlatinumGames and Square Enix. This fan art captures the blend of military precision and human-like emotion central to the NieR: Automata universe.
