2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted in a tender, protective pose, holding 9S close in a mystical forest clearing. She wears her signature gothic-lolita outfit with black dress, gloves, and blindfold, while her sword rests beside her, symbolizing her combat role as a YoRHa android. The scene is bathed in soft, bioluminescent blue light filtering through dense foliage, evoking a serene yet melancholic mood within the game’s post-apocalyptic world. Created by a fan artist, this digital illustration highlights the emotional depth between the two characters, a hallmark of Yoko Taro’s narrative design under PlatinumGames and Square Enix. The artwork blends themes of sacrifice and connection, central to the NieR: Automata story.
