2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted alongside 9S in a rare, shirtless digital illustration that reimagines their iconic forms. The androids stand side-by-side in a moody, atmospheric environment with glowing light beams piercing through smoky clouds, emphasizing their muscular physiques and signature silver hair. Their combat gloves and partial armor hint at their military roles within the YoRHa unit, while the dramatic lighting and industrial aesthetic evoke the game’s post-apocalyptic world. Created by a fan artist, this piece blends the gothic-lolita and futuristic themes of the PlatinumGames title, developed by Yoko Taro and Square Enix, into a powerful visual narrative. The artwork captures the emotional depth and existential themes central to NieR: Automata through a striking, unconventional portrayal.
