2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is rendered in a striking monochrome digital illustration, emphasizing her signature black gothic-lolita outfit and blindfold. The artwork captures her in a static, almost solemn pose, with visible brushwork adding texture to her armored bodice and flowing sleeves, set against a neutral gray background. This piece evokes the somber, post-apocalyptic atmosphere of the PlatinumGames game, developed under Yoko Taro’s vision for Square Enix. The minimalist approach highlights 2B’s stoic demeanor and the emotional weight of her role as a combat android in a world of machines. A compelling example of fan art that honors the character’s design and thematic depth.
