2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is portrayed in a tranquil, sun-drenched field, her long silver hair framing her face as a single strand falls across her blue eyes. She wears a simple dark top, a departure from her usual combat outfit, suggesting a moment of quiet reflection outside the war-torn world of the YoRHa androids. The soft, painterly style and warm lighting evoke a peaceful, almost dreamlike mood, contrasting sharply with the game’s usual industrial-aesthetic and post-apocalyptic setting. This digital illustration, created by artist Leuyan in 2018, reimagines the iconic character in a natural environment, highlighting her humanity and emotional depth. As a fan art piece, it celebrates the character design and narrative crafted by PlatinumGames and Square Enix under Yoko Taro’s vision.
