2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is rendered in a delicate grayscale sketch, capturing her signature gothic-lolita outfit with a stylized emblem on the chest. Her blindfold is absent, revealing one visible eye, while her hands are raised in a fluid, expressive gesture, suggesting movement or emotion. The artwork, a digital illustration, emphasizes clean lines and shading, focusing on character design rather than a post-apocalyptic setting. Created by a fan artist, this piece highlights 2B’s duality as both combat android and vulnerable being, a theme central to Yoko Taro’s narrative under PlatinumGames and Square Enix. The sketch format offers a raw, intimate look at the character, distinct from typical 3D renders or full-color fan art.
