2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted in a rare moment of vulnerability, being hugged from behind by her fellow YoRHa android 9S. She wears her signature black gothic-lolita outfit with long white gloves and a blindfold, while 9S embraces her in his dark coat, his expression mischievous with a small lightning bolt above his head. The digital illustration captures a lighthearted, intimate interaction between the two characters, contrasting their usual combat roles in the post-apocalyptic world created by Yoko Taro and PlatinumGames. This fan art, rendered in a clean anime style, highlights the emotional depth and dynamic between 2B and 9S, set against a minimalist white background that focuses attention on their connection. The image exemplifies the enduring popularity of NieR: Automata characters in digital art communities.
