2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted on the cover of the 'Short Story Long' artbook alongside 9S, both rendered in detailed digital illustration. The artwork highlights their signature black gothic-lolita outfits, combat boots, and blindfolded visages, set against a monochrome, industrial-aesthetic backdrop. The scene captures the post-apocalyptic mood of the PlatinumGames title, with Yoko Taro's narrative depth evident in the character expressions and layered composition. These official Square Enix publications serve as fan art inspiration, blending military precision with emotional vulnerability. The visual style, rooted in digital art and anime design, emphasizes the androids' duality as warriors and sentient beings.
