2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is shown alongside 9S in a relaxed, sketch-style digital illustration. Both androids wear simplified, non-combat versions of their standard YoRHa uniforms—2B in a white coat with a red sash and 9S in a green scarf and orange vest—both retaining their signature blindfolds. The scene, set against a plain white background, evokes a peaceful, introspective mood, contrasting with the game’s post-apocalyptic setting. This fan art, rendered in a clean digital illustration style, highlights the characters’ human-like emotions and bonds, central themes in Yoko Taro’s narrative crafted by PlatinumGames and Square Enix. The artwork captures the gothic-lolita aesthetic of 2B’s outfit while emphasizing character connection over combat.
