2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted alongside 9S and A2 in this black-and-white digital line art fan illustration. The trio stands in distinct combat-ready poses, each wielding signature weapons — 2B with dual gear-bladed swords, 9S with a large sword and a floating AI companion, and A2 with a gear-encased blade. Their outfits reflect the gothic-lolita and military-inspired design language of the YoRHa series, set against a minimalist background that emphasizes their silhouettes and the game’s dark, post-apocalyptic tone. Created by a fan artist, this piece captures the emotional and mechanical duality central to Yoko Taro’s narrative, produced by PlatinumGames and Square Enix. The clean, high-contrast style highlights the characters’ symbolic roles within the NieR: Automata universe.
