2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted in a gentle, intimate pose, embracing a large, smiling machine head with one eye visible and a wide, toothy grin. She wears her signature black gothic-lolita outfit with a high collar, gloves, and a black headband covering her right eye, her silver hair framing her face as she smiles softly. The scene, rendered in digital illustration style, contrasts her usual combat-ready demeanor with a moment of unexpected tenderness, evoking the emotional depth of the PlatinumGames title created by Yoko Taro and Square Enix. This fan art captures the post-apocalyptic world’s duality—where machines and androids share complex, human-like connections. The minimal white background emphasizes the characters, highlighting the emotional core of the NieR: Automata narrative.
