2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted alongside 9S in this intimate cosplay fan art, both lying down on a dark metal grate with eyes closed in a peaceful, almost dreamlike state. They wear their iconic black and white gothic-lolita outfits with detailed lace, mesh, and white ruffled accents, while their vibrant red hair flows naturally across the industrial surface. The blindfold on 2B’s face and the soft expressions evoke a rare moment of tranquility within the game’s post-apocalyptic world, contrasting with their usual combat roles. Created by fans of PlatinumGames and Square Enix’s visionary Yoko Taro, this digital illustration captures the emotional depth of the YoRHa androids beyond the battlefield. This artwork exemplifies the enduring appeal of NieR: Automata’s characters through thoughtful, character-driven fan art.
