2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is portrayed in a stylized gothic-lolita outfit with a black dress, fur-trimmed armor, and her signature blindfold, wielding a sword in a dynamic combat pose. The scene unfolds in a post-apocalyptic stone courtyard, with a defeated machine creature at her feet and onlookers watching from an archway, evoking a medieval-fantasy atmosphere. This digital illustration blends the futuristic YoRHa aesthetic with dark, hand-drawn textures, capturing the emotional weight and isolation often explored in Yoko Taro’s narrative. Created by fan artist nandido in 2023, the artwork reflects the enduring appeal of 2B’s character within the PlatinumGames and Square Enix universe. This piece stands as a unique interpretation of 2B’s identity, merging her role as an Android soldier with a more human, vulnerable narrative context.
