2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B), protagonist of NieR: Automata, is depicted here in a surreal, melancholic scene where her mechanical form cradles a bouquet of white flowers. The image, a digital illustration, shows her in a static, almost reverent pose, with two small birds resting on her head, contrasting her cold, industrial design with organic life. The background of shattered glass and debris evokes the post-apocalyptic world of NieR: Automata, while the gentle gesture of holding flowers suggests themes of humanity and loss. Created by a fan artist, this piece reflects the emotional depth of Yoko Taro’s narrative, produced by PlatinumGames and Square Enix, and resonates with the gothic-lolita style often associated with 2B’s iconic outfit. The image captures a quiet moment of peace within the chaos, highlighting the duality of 2B as both machine and sentient being.
